IT law

IT law deals with the legal examination of facts and cases in information technology (IT) issues, such as software license agreements as well as the design of online stores and the drafting of general terms and conditions and terms of use. A characteristic feature of IT law is that in practice, there is often overlap with other areas of law, such as labor law, intellectual property rights or copyright and media law.

Due to the increasing digitalization, especially in the entrepreneurial sector, a multitude of legal problems and questions arise for companies and start-ups, in which we would be pleased to provide you with competent advice.

There are two main focuses of our work. Firstly, we offer legal advice in the design of IT-based business models (software as a service, software development, sale and rental of software), the drafting, review and negotiation of distribution agreements and general terms and conditions (GTC). Secondly, we provide legal support of online stores (e-commerce), drafting and review of terms of use, privacy statements for homepages as well as representation in the event of a warning by competitors.

Our lawyers and staff combine their expertise in the various fields concerning IT law in order to find target-oriented and practical solutions that address the issue in its entirety.
